EMPOWERING YOU TO LIVE HEALTHIER
The YMCA understands that staying healthy involves more than working out. Our Healthy Living Programs focus on the entire family’s health, while providing a variety of fitness and wellness programs to serve each individual’s unique needs.
We are currently looking to launch our healthy living programs virtually and are seeking individuals who may be interested in participating. All of these healthy living programs are described in detail below. Some of these programs are free and others are funded by grants and incur no cost to the participant. For those not funded by a grant, the YMCA of MEWSA can provide financial assistance to qualified individuals so that everyone has the opportunity to pursue and reach their fitness goals, regardless of their current fitness level or their ability to pay.
If you are interested in one of our healthy living programs, please fill out the Healthy Living Program Interest Form and someone will reach out to you shortly.

LIVESTRONG® AT THE YMCA
Cancer is a life-changing disease that takes a tremendous physical and emotional toll on those affected. The Y and LIVESTRONG® have joined together to create LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA, a research-based physical activity and well-being program designed to help adult cancer survivors reclaim their total health.
LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA fulfills the important need of supporting the increasing number of survivors who find themselves in the transitional period between completing their cancer treatment and the shift to feeling physically and emotionally strong enough to return to their normal life or their "new normal". The program is conducted outside of medical facilities to emphasize that LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA is about health, not disease.
If you are interested in signing up or finding out more information on any of these programs, please fill out the Healthy Living Program Interest Form below and a staff member will get back to you as soon as possible.
