Youth and Government
Youth and Government (YAG) is a leadership program for middle and high schoolers who want to learn more about civic engagement and how they can participate. The program helps our tweens and teens build their writing, public speaking and communication skills while writing and debating their own laws.
The YMCA of MEWSA is proud to offer YAG and support our next generation of leaders. Participants will engage with fellow participants across the state of New Jersey before attending a two-and-a-half-day conference where students present their laws and engage with current civic leaders from the state.
