Join us on June 8th from 1 - 3 P.M. for this free, family-friendly event as we explore a brand-new route connecting the Middlesex Greenway to the Barnes Preserve! 

Starting at 1 P.M., we'll leave from the Metuchen Y and walk together through a newly planted forest and visit the future site of a community park within the preserve. It’s a great way to get outdoors, enjoy nature, and learn about local conservation efforts.

Arrive early at 12:30 PM to see our whimsical “Beasties of the Swamp” recycled art exhibit, created by children in our YMCA Child Care Centers. These fun and eco-conscious pieces showcase creativity and environmental care, all through the eyes of our youngest artists!
