Other previous roles held by Doug in the Department include Assistant Commissioner for Legislative and Regulatory Affairs and Chief of Staff. He has also served as General Counsel and Board Secretary for The Performance Insurance Company, as Vice President of Riverview Professional Services, and as Counsel in the New Jersey State Senate where he staffed the Senate Commerce and Judiciary Committees.

Doug is a graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law J.D. and the University of Rochester, BA, in History and Political Science. He resides in Metuchen with his wife and family, and volunteers on the Board of “It Takes A Borough” (formerly the Fuccile Foundation), a charitable organization which raises money for families in need.

“We are thrilled that Doug has chosen to share his talents with our Board” said John Dowd, Chairman of the Board of Directors.  Rose Cushing, President & CEO, added that “We look forward to the experience and perspective Doug is bringing to our organization.”

YMCA Board members are responsible for establishing policy and strategic direction for the Y, as well as creating opportunities and establishing relationships that advance the YMCA’s mission and cause.  The Board of the YMCA of MEWSA is currently comprised of twenty-seven members with strong professional and community ties to Middlesex County.
