The YMCA of Metuchen, Edison, Woodbridge & South Amboy (MEWSA) is excited to announce the appointment of Jennice Webb as Vice President of Childcare Services.
Before joining the YMCA of MEWSA, Webb served as the Divisional Education Director for The Salvation Army New Jersey Division, where she oversaw multiple childcare centers across the state.
“Jennice’s extensive experience in child development aligns perfectly with the mission and goals of our organization,” said Rose Cushing, President and CEO of the YMCA of MEWSA. “She brings exceptional leadership qualities, with a proven ability to guide teams effectively, inspire growth, and foster a positive environment.”
Webb holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology, a master’s degree in school counseling, and most recently earned a doctorate in education, specializing in curriculum and teaching. Her expertise in childcare has led her to present at prominent conferences, including Grow NJ Kids and the New Jersey Association for the Education of Young Children (NJAEYC).
In her new role, Webb will oversee childcare programs at the YMCA of MEWSA, serving children from 6 weeks to 14 years old. The YMCA of MEWSA provides high-quality, affordable childcare to nearly 3,000 youth in Middlesex County annually, ensuring that all children and families have access to vital services.
