The YMCA of MEWSA's Annual Dinner is a celebratory event recognizing the achievements and impact of the YMCA in strengthening community health and well-being, while honoring dedicated supporters and partners who help advance its mission.

Each year, walkers and runners participate in the 5k event in memory of Janice Garbolino, the former Health & Wellness Director of the YMCA who lost her battle with breast cancer in 2002.  All proceeds from the 5K support the LiveSTRONG at the YMCA program, a free physical activity and wellness program for cancer survivors.

Metuchen Golf & Country Club

The YMCA Golf Classic raises funds to help Send Kids to Camp  — the single largest scholarship assistance program provided by the Y to the kids and families in our community each summer.

St. Joseph's High School, Metuchen
 This event helps us support families from our communities with scholarship assistance in situations when they are unable to pay the full cost of child care. The fund also provides aid to families in crisis and allows us to temporarily provide tuition assistance in the event of a family emergency.
