Planned Giving

Making a planned gift is a wonderful way to show your support and appreciation for the YMCA and its mission while accommodating your own personal, financial estate-planning and philanthropic goals. With smart planning, donors may actually increase the size of their commitment to the Y and/or reduce the tax burden on their heirs. 

Ways to Participate in Planned Giving

You may be looking for a way to make a significant gift to help the future of our mission. A bequest is a gift made through your will or trust. It is one of the most popular and flexible ways that you can support the Y and our cause. 
Did you know that if you are 70 and a half years or older, you are eligible to create a tax-free gift from your IRA to the Y?

Making a gift of appreciated securities can be a great tax-efficient way to support the Y. Donating stock to the YMCA can help you reduce or eliminate capital gains tax.

Donors are encouraged to discuss their planned or estate giving options with their legal and/or financial advisors. Our Development Team is always willing to assist!

Volunteer with Us

Be part of building a strong community! We offer a wide variety of volunteer opportunities for individuals and businesses to give back as volunteers. 

Volunteers at the Y help our communities reach their fullest potential and we offer opportunities for all ages to be involved. From volunteering as a youth sports coach, for member services, or through our many events, we have a role perfect for you!
Volunteers are critical to the success of our events, ensuring our mission is shared while inspiring our communities. We host multiple events each year, and volunteers are always welcome to assist. 

We are committed to supporting the communities we serve through the Togetherhood® Program. The Y has established committees to identify community needs and lead projects that help our members give back and support their neighbors.
