South Amboy YMCA Campers Dive into a Splashy Summer
Campers will enjoy swimming each week, with visits to the Frog Hollow Swim Club right here in South Amboy and to Oakcrest Community Pool in Edison. These off-site locations give campers the opportunity to stay cool and build confidence in the water while making lasting memories with friends. They'll also enjoy trips to the Raritan Rapids Spray Park at the YMCA at the Piscataway Community Center.

An Important Update Regarding the Swimming Pool at the South Amboy YMCA
After extensive evaluation, the YMCA has made the difficult decision to close the pool effective March 7, 2026. The pool requires significant repairs, ongoing maintenance, and long-term capital investment that can no longer be sustained responsibly while also supporting the other programs our community relies on.

An Update Regarding South Amboy YMCA SACC Program
To continue to best serve our families, we are working on updating our license for School Age Child Care to return to the Y! Starting this school year, we will offer a YMCA-hosted SACC program, just minutes from the school. Students will attend the Y for a safe, fun and enriching program.
